UNBELIEVABLE SHOCKER:
“THE PARADIGM SHIFT” WINS 3 AWARDS FROM COLONY FILM FESTIVAL IN OHIO

Marietta, OH. – In what writer/producer Sam Holdren can only describe as a jaw-dropping and generous fluke, The Paradigm Shift won 3 awards on Saturday, October 17th from the Colony Film Festival: Best Student Film, Best Short Film, and Best of the Fest.
The film - directed by Jon Barr - screened on Saturday, October 17th at the Mid-Ohio Valley Players Theatre with Holdren in attendence, followed by several thoughtful questions from the audience. The two-day festival was devoted to an exciting mix of independent works in a very active atmosphere.
Festival guests included filmmaker and keynote speaker Daniel Boyd of Charleston, WV, and Emmy-winning composer David Traugh of Vienna, WV.
On behalf of the entire cast and crew, Holdren thanks the festival for including their effort amongst several strong and diverse films, and congratulates them on their 2009 event.
In all, the event was very well-organized by a team of hard-working and lively individuals who have fashioned an event that will hopefully by embraced for years to come. (hint, hint... enter this fest in 2010, filmmakers!)
