DID YOU KNOW... that 35 pounds of actual meat were used to create the costume worn by the titular character?

To create a sense of authenticity in the makeup/costume work for the movie, director and makeup designer Kevin Krutz eschewed the typical latex layers and plaster molds of special effects makeup in favor of actually covering actress Rachel Rizzo from head to toe in actual beef. But you’ll have to watch the movie to see if it was… well done.
