Endangered Peace

Connecting the realms of language and sense is vital in communication, and the practice of facilitating this relationship as creators and perceivers, best defines Endangered Peace. Recognizing how the languages of image, word, and music often illicit specific senses, our intent is to challenge the perceivers’ expectations of this experience. Through irony, satire, and subversion, we explore social patterns and phenomena which we feel are under represented or often misconstrued. Using narrative film, still photography, and clothing design as key modes of illustration, we are creating work that attempts to challenge the expected communication experience.
